On the attack on Zaid during the Hulu Selangor by-election 2010
The story about the Tunku meeting Asri with whiskey glass in his hand reminds me about another episode involving the Tunku in our parliament.
Tan Chee Koon as the opposition leader then, was demanding in the parliament, that action be taken against our High Commissioner to Australia who was caught having lots of fun at Kings Cross, the red lights district of Sydney.
The Tunku replied by asking all those in the House, who had not had weaknesses in that respect to stand up.
Tan Chee Koon stood up and looked directly at the Tunku in his eyes.
I was told that there was pin-drop silence in the House before the Tunku simply commented, " My dear David Tan Chee Koon, I really pity you."
