KJ'S SPEECH - UMNO YOUTH AGM 2010
I make speeches honoring hardwork, discipline and responsibility to my children everyday. After a short pause at the end of each of my speeches, each time, they invariably ask," Papa, can we play now? Can we have this and can we have that?"
Equitable policies, sincere actions and unbiased follow-ups, these are the keys, not mere speeches, although hopefully it helps too.
However, if after all the rhetoric, its still business as usual, then what I heard recently will be prophetic; and this is what I was told recently:-
"If a BN/UMNO guy come up to tell us that his mother is a woman and his father is a man, it is still better for us not to believe him." And the person who uttered these words is a non-partisan highly educated retired civil servant.
