25th April 2010 Hulu Selangor By-Election

Now that the final result is out, let us all accept the fact no matter how unfair it is.

Dear PR and dear Zaid, we are so proud of you for putting up such a good fight.

As for BN, everyone can see that there is absolutely no honour in the winning and we can actually expect a more arrogant UMNO who can claim that MIC is really irrelevant.

It was UMNO/PM who campaigned for the Indians votes.

MCA can expect though time ahead, despite all their strategies, including threats, the Chinese voters overwelmingly voted for PR.

I would like to say that I am proud of the Chinese voters in HS, yet I know it is because they have had enough discrimination. All said, let us pray for our nation, which is still very much struggling .

What is happening in the Hulu Selangor by-election

What is happening in the Hulu Selangor by-election?

Why was there such dramatic 11th hour changes over the BN's candidate?

Why do the BN campaign strategists adopt personal acttack which lead the electrolate to relate such personnal issues back to BN/UMNO leadership?

There are certain things that "honourable samurai" can not do, so they subcontract it to the ninjas.

In his battle over Hulu Selangor, we can see the shadow of a more brutal war within BN especially within UMNO.

On the attack on Zaid during the Hulu Selangor by-election 2010

The story about the Tunku meeting Asri with whiskey glass in his hand reminds me about another episode involving the Tunku in our parliament.

Tan Chee Koon as the opposition leader then, was demanding in the parliament, that action be taken against our High Commissioner to Australia who was caught having lots of fun at Kings Cross, the red lights district of Sydney.

The Tunku replied by asking all those in the House, who had not had weaknesses in that respect to stand up.

Tan Chee Koon stood up and looked directly at the Tunku in his eyes.

I was told that there was pin-drop silence in the House before the Tunku simply commented, " My dear David Tan Chee Koon, I really pity you."
